At this year’s American Association for Justice (AAJ) Annual Convention, Amanda Cryderman and Brian Franciskato presented at the Paralegal CLE on The Unauthorized Practice of Law by Paralegals and How to Avoid Landmines.
The goal isn’t to do less as a paralegal. It’s to do more while staying on the right side of the ethical line. The most effective paralegals aren’t the ones who answer every question; they’re the ones who know which questions belong to the attorney.
This year’s American Association for Justice (AAJ) Annual Convention brought trial lawyers from across the country together in Chicago — including our partner, Brian Franciskato.
In April, Brian Franciskato and Amanda Cryderman delivered a virtual Lunch & Learn presentation to the Products Liability Section of The American Association for Justice (AAJ) titled “Strategic Support: The Paralegal’s Role in Depositions.”
Brian currently serves as Chairperson of the Products Liability Section, and Amanda serves as Chairperson for the Paralegal Affiliates of the AAJ.

Brian Franciskato, partner at Nash & Franciskato, has been appointed to the Greater Lee’s Summit Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors.
Nash and Franciskato, along with The Mo-TLC Crew, showed up in a big way at Harvesters in Kansas City with a crew of 23 people to pack the “buddy packs” that kids take home from school, ensuring they have food during the weekends.
